Gloria Maria Fetter, of Oak Ridge, New Jersey, passed peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at The Vero Senior Living Facility, Bethlehem, PA. She was 92.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on August 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Fidel and Abigail (Achurra) Caballero.
She was a graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, Philadelphia, PA.
Gloria was united in Holy Matrimony to Dr. Edward Joseph Fetter on June 28,1958. Together, they built a loving Catholic home and raised six children while supporting Edward through his doctoral studies and career in chemistry. The couple shared 63 years of marriage until his passing on March 2, 2021.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Gloria dedicated her life to caring for her family. She had a special gift for making every celebration meaningful and joyful. From family birthday traditions to holiday celebrations, she made her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren feel deeply loved and cherished.
A member of St. Simon the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Newfoundland, New Jersey, she also attended several local Catholic churches, particularly the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Known for her detailed lists, highlighting, welcoming smile, and generous hospitality, Gloria was attentive to the needs of others. Friends and family remember her warmth, encouragement, and sincere interest in their lives. She guided her children with wisdom, faith, and steadfast love.
Gloria sought to lovingly nurture her family. She often reminded them that “God sees everything,” encouraging honesty, kindness, and thoughtful living rooted in faith.
Her life was a witness to devotion, sacrifice, and enduring love for God and family. She is survived by her six children, 17 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren and multiple extended family members.
The family will receive friends at the viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, Pennsylvania.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, followed by interment in the Shrine Cemetery on a date to be announced.
