Geraldine R. “Gerry” (Rouse) Knisley, formerly of Hagersville, PA, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge, Sellersville, PA. She was 92.

            She was the loving wife of nearly 67 years of the late John F. “Jack” Knisley, Jr. until his passing on June 26, 2021.

            Born in Mount Holly, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward G. and Myra R. (Maloney) Rouse. She was a 1951 graduate of South Philadelphia High School for Girls, Philadelphia, PA.

            Mrs. Knisley, along with her husband, owned and operated the Dairy Queen, Dublin, PA, for 32 years until retiring in 2010.

            She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA.

            Mrs. Knisley was active in the Pennridge Community where she was a member of the East Rockhill Lioness Club and the Perkasie Historical Society. She also volunteered for many years with the Ridge Crest Christmas Shop Craft Ladies. A member of the Upper Bucks Ski Club, she loved going on skiing trips with her husband, Jack, even though she didn’t ski! One of her favorite pastimes was sitting on her porch overlooking her pond to read the newspaper. She also enjoyed taking drives around Lake Nockamixon and going on bus trips over the years.

            She is survived by three children, Dale J. Knisley, of Catasauqua, PA, Frank G. Knisley and his wife Dawn, of Perkasie, PA, and Sallie Learn and her husband David, of Brandon, FL; two grandchildren, Axel Learn and his wife Elle, and Kathryn Dolan and her husband Christopher; three great-grandchildren, Stella, Piper and Harper Dolan; a brother, Lester Rouse, of Chester County, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

            Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Deanna Marie Knisley; and a sister-in-law, Rose Rouse.

            Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery, Sellersville.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
