Gerald W. "Gerry" Robison, of Dublin, PA, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 13, 2023, at his home. He was 82.
He was the loving husband of Victoria "Vicki" (Senkow) Robison. The couple had celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on May 7, 2023.
Born in Perkasie, PA, he was the son of the late James Robison and the late Ethel (Brown) Thomson. He was a 1959 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.
For over 30 years, Gerry owned and operated Robison Racing Products, Dublin, PA, fabricating and producing parts for race cars including those for Tony Stewart, Roush Racing and Dave Blaney as well as customers around the world. Previously, he worked for McKeon Trucking, Warminster, PA, and the Limerick Power Plant, Limerick, PA. During the late 1960's through the early 1970's, he, along with his older brother Jim, owned and operated the former Chevron Gas Station at Walnut Street & Constitution Avenue in Perkasie.
He particularly enjoyed drag racing at Vargo Dragway in Bedminster Township, PA. Gerry was a proud race car owner and enthusiast, driving modified and sprint cars. He also owned a 1941 Ford and a 1957 Chevy that he showed at innumerable car shows over the years. He also was active with the Indian Valley H.O.G. Chapter Motorcycle Club.
He volunteered for many years with the Dublin Volunteer Fire Company and Ambulance. Gerry loved both fresh water and salt water fishing and hunting.
Surviving with his wife are three children, Annette Erdman and her husband Kenneth, of Quakertown, PA, James Robison and his husband Chad Gruhl, of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and Kelly Robison and her husband Michael Dumpelfeld, of Concord, NH; three grandchildren, Rebecca Maryott and her husband Kenneth, Danielle Santee and her husband Matthew, and Kenneth Erdman; four great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Sadie and Connor Maryott, and Abby Santee; and two brothers, Dennis Robison and his wife Barbara, of Perkasie, and Ronald Thomson and his wife Susan, of Long Beach, CA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Robison.
His Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in St. Luke's Union Cemetery, Dublin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dublin Volunteer Fire Company, 194 N. Main Street, Box 283, Dublin, PA 18917.
