Gerald L. Parvin, 89, of Quakertown, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022, in Villages at LifeQuest, previously of Hobe Sound, FL and Hidden Springs Retirement Community of Souderton.

He was the beloved husband to the late Virginia Parvin who died in 2020.

Born in Telford, he was the son of the late Raymond S. and Aneida (Shade) Parvin.

Mr. Parvin was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1953-1955 during the Korean War.

He was employed at the U.S. Gauge, Sellersville as an assembler/group leader for 46 years.

Mr. Parvin was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Telford. In his free time, his hobbies included bowling, golf, metal detecting at the beach, gardening vegetables, and square dancing.  He enjoyed military history of World War II and Civil War.  He enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time at his shore house in NJ.

He is survived by: his son, Keith and Sandra Parvin of Quakertown and his daughter, Kimberly Eubanks and her companion, James Derstine of Quakertown.  His three stepchildren:  Marilyn Bobb and husband Rick Metz of Quakertown, David Bobb of Allentown, Carol Bobb of Paris, France; a brother, Richard Parvin of Telford; grandchildren: Jayson, Mitchell, Bob, Maddie; step-grandchildren, Ethan and Mallory and step-great-grandchildren, Wesley and Ellie.  In addition to his wife, Gerald was pre-deceased by his granddaughter, Sarah; brothers, Curt, Merrill, Donald and sister, Olive.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 10:00AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 107 W. Lincoln Avenue, Telford, PA.  Family will receive friends from 9-10AM prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to The Sarah Parvin Foundation, 2185 Esten Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951.
