George C. McCormick, 80, of Telford, passed away at Lansdale Hospital on February 24, 2025, in Lansdale PA.

George is survived by his wife Patricia (Pry).

Born in Shenandoah Heights, PA he was the son of the late William J. McCormick and Mae Levere (Cattell) McCormick.

George was a proud U.S. Veteran in the Army during the Vietnam War. After serving in the Army, Dr. McCormick earned his PhD , Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science and became a Toxicologist. He served as a president of Temple University Pharmacy School Alumni Association.  He worked on research and development at Vicks, Ciba-Geigy, Schering-Plough, Genentech, and Cephalon Inc/Teva. At Cephalon Inc/Teva he served as vice president for drug safety and disposition. After working in the pharmaceutical field, George began his own practice and was the owner of Tox Resolutions LLC where he was the president and CEO.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Dr. Jacob McCormick (Piedad Lozada) of Telford, PA, Lauren Elsabee (Joseph) of Westfield, NJ, and Cameron McCormick (Ainagul Erzhanova) of Philadelphia, PA.   He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Henry, Luke and Mae..

George was predeceased by his half-sister Betty Dunleavy of Collingswood, NJ, son Michael and his uncle George Cattell.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Little Zion Lutheran Church, 267 Morwood Road, Telford, PA 18969. Family will receive friends  from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
