George Hackman, of Perkasie, PA, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 20, 2023, at his home.  He was 82.

Born in Quakertown, PA, he was the son of the late William and Eva May (Besch) Hackman.  He was a 1960 graduate of Quakertown High School, Quakertown.

Mr. Hackman was a proud Veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving on a Navy ship from 1960 to 1963.

He was employed as a computer technician for the former Leeds & Northrup Co., North Wales, PA, for over 30 years until its closing.

An avid cook and photographer, Mr. Hackman loved feeding the birds.

He is survived by a sister, Nancy J. Patton, of Perkasie; a nephew, Michael Patton and his wife Jackie; and three nieces, Deborah Renner and her husband George, Michelle Patton, and Brenda Belac.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Hackman.

There will be no services.
