Frederick C. Kline, III, of Sellersville, PA, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville.  He was 80.

He was the loving husband of Elmira C. "Kim" (Urban) Kline.  The couple had celebrated their 40th anniversary on December 16, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick C. Jr. and Virginia Ann (Humbrecht) Kline.  He was a 1962 graduate of William Tennent High School, Warminster, PA.

Mr. Kline was a proud U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, having been stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, and having served as a Military Policeman until his honorable discharge in 1967 following two years of enlistment.

He was employed as a letter carrier with the U. S. Postal Service in Southampton, PA, for 38 years until retiring in 2014.

Mr. Kline attended St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA.

An avid fisherman, particularly salt water, he was fond of taking surf fishing trips to Cape Cod, the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and New Jersey for stripers at night.  He was an accomplished gardener, having tended to a plot in the Perkasie Community Gardens.  A talented runner and athlete, he loved following sports including hockey, especially the New York Islanders, as well as Philadelphia Phillies baseball and Philadelphia 76ers basketball.  He also enjoyed reading in his free time.

Surviving with his wife are two stepchildren, Kathleen Carey, of Drexel Hill, PA, and Joseph Duffy and his wife Kimberly, of Douglassville, PA; five grandchildren, Liam, Brendan, Malena, Joseph and Connor; two brothers, Peter Kline and his wife Elizabeth, of Warwick, PA, and Kent Kline and his wife Christina, of Plumsteadville, PA; two sisters, Susie Flaherty, of Hopewell, NJ, and Joanne Kline Gunzenhauser, of Lancaster, PA; and a sister-in-law, Susan Kline, of Warminster, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kurt Kline, and a sister, Virginia Kline.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:45 AM.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA  18960.
