Obituary

Frank M. Denton, of Perkasie, PA and formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at his home.  He was 97 ½.

He was the loving husband of 64 years of June M. (Thunell) Denton until her passing on August 26, 2021.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Frank M. and Ruth (Barnett) Denton.  He was a 1946 graduate of Haaren High School, New York City, NY.

Upon graduating from high school in 1946, Frank was drafted into the United States Navy, where he spent the next two years on a supply ship sailing between Hawaii and Japan.

Frank worked as a Mechanical Engineer most of his life.  He was employed by Esselte Pendaflex Corporation, Garden City, NY for 15 years, retiring in 1994.  Prior to that, he worked for Grumman Aerospace, Long Island, NY, for 20 years where he worked on the space program.

He was a member of Renew Bible Church, Perkasie, where he served as a deacon, managed the Joseph Fund, and participated in the church's prayer meetings.  While residing in New York, he was a member of the Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, Malverne, Long Island, NY, where he served as a Deacon, Junior Church Ministry leader, attended prayer meetings, and participated in the visitation ministry.  He would also open his home for Missionaries to stay with his family while in New York.

Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ was Frank's most important missions that he had here on this earth.  He had his own ministry visiting nursing homes in the area sharing the good news of Jesus.  He and his wife would often invite people to go to dinner with them just to talk about the Lord.

He is survived by two daughters, Nancy S. Wagner and her husband William, of Lancaster, SC and Janet L. Dillingham and her husband Lee, of Perkasie; four grandchildren, Paige Wagner, Jack Wagner, Rebekah Landis and her husband Tyler, and Bradley Dillingham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Denton and Robert Denton, and a sister, Norma Mott.
