Francis J. Maher, 76, of Harleysville, PA,  passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA.  He was the loving husband of Arlene (Koons) Maher who celebrated their 57th  wedding anniversary in August.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James E. Maher and Catherine McCabe.

Mr. Maher worked for over forty years, in Animal Husbandry in the Pharmaceutical industry for Merck Sharpe and Dohme.

Francis enjoyed hobbies of golfing, collecting Lionel trains, flea-marketing and doing yardwork. An avid fan, he spent many afternoons and evening watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.  He loved his time with family and was a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Along with his wife Arlene, Francis is survived by his children:  Jeffrey Maher and his wife Susan of Pennsburg, Kellie Rohrer and her husband Charles of Royersford, Kevin Maher and his wife Stephanie of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren: Evan and his wife Jessica, Tia, Kyle, and Sabrina; two great grandchildren Sage and Estella; brothers: James E. Maher and his wife Geraldine, Kevin Maher and his wife Mary Ann, and sister-in-law Maryanne Maher. He was preceded in death by his brother Patrick Maher.

In accordance with his wishes there will be no services.
