Frances Elizabeth Yerkes, 79, of Quakertown PA, passed away Tuesday, June 21 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Philadelphia on February 5, 1943 to the late John and Frances (Joyce) Haselbarth, She moved to Willow Grove where she graduated from Abington High School and met her high school sweetheart and husband of 61 years, Alfred T Yerkes. They later moved to Quakertown where they raised their family. Frances worked for St. Luke's Hospital before retiring in 2013. She was an avid gardener, cook and baker and her apple pies will be missed every day. She enjoyed sewing, braiding beautiful rugs and crocheting for everyone she loved. She was an incredibly smart and wonderful person and will be deeply missed by so many.

In addition to her husband, Frances is survived by her four children, Cynthia (Robert), Steven (Wendy), Brian (Gloria) and Shawn (Amanda). She was the proud big sister to Clara Clayton (Sam decd.) and John Haselbarth (Tonya). Beloved nana to Ross (Christa), Julia (Didzis), Steven (Ashley) and Samuel and great-grandmother to Cassidy and Abigail.

A celebration of Frances' life will be held in private
