Frances A. Macort, 99, of Telford, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the Lutheran Community at Telford.  She was the beloved wife of 39 years to the late William Macort who died in 1985.

Born in Telford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Abram and Alberta (Nyce) Godshall.

She was employed as a sewing machine operator for the former Iskins in Telford for many years.

Mrs. Macort was a member of Zion Mennonite Church in Souderton.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading, working outside, and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, Janis Macort of Royersford, five grandchildren: Michele Arbic, Shannon Pierce (Edward), Jason Macort (Sarah), Jessica Mochan, Shawn Mochan, and nine great grandchildren:  Meagan, Arianna, Aaron, Gavin, Jordyn, Makenna, Rudy, Cooper, and Aidan.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Dennis W. Macort.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 11 AM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford, PA 18969.  Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.  Family will receive friends from 10:30-11:00 AM prior to the service.  Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
