Florence E. Lawryk, of West Rockhill Township, PA, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the Horsham Center for Jewish Life, North Wales, PA.  She was 90.

She was the loving wife of Michael Lawryk.  The couple had celebrated their 72nd Wedding Anniversary on November 25, 2022.

Born in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Goldhahn) Ager.

A homemaker, Mrs. Lawryk was a member of Christ Church of the United Church of Christ, Trumbauersville, PA.

She served over 25 years as a Girl Scout Leader with the Freedom Valley Girl Scout Council, leading troops in both West Rockhill Township and Sellersville, PA.  An Associate Member of the Tylersport Fire Company, Tylersport, PA, she volunteered as a driver for the handicapped during the 1970's.

Until the age of 88, Mrs. Lawryk especially enjoyed gardening, tending to her lawn, and mowing the family's three acre property, along with her husband, on their John Deere tractors.  An avid card player, she belonged to a woman's Pinochle card club for many years.  She will be remembered, most of all, for her special love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving with her husband are two children, Michael D. Lawryk and his wife Kathy, of Eufaula, AL, and Malisa A. Nyce and her husband Greg, of Perkasie, PA; three grandchildren, Gregory Nyce and his wife Lauren, Stephanie Madison and her husband Devon, and Justin Nyce and his wife Theresa; five great-grandchildren, Jamison and Braelynn Nyce, and Connor, Kaylee and Peyton Madison; and a brother, William Ager and his wife Lil, of New Jersey.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ellen Lawryk, who died January 8, 2013; and two brothers, John and Robert Ager; and a sister, Cindy Lou Ager.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
