Buzdygon
April 11, 1924 – February 22, 2026
Ethel E. Buzdygon, a life-long resident of Bedminster Twp., PA, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, at LifeQuest Nursing Center, Milford Twp., PA. She was 101 years old.
She was the loving wife of 69 years of the late William Buzdygon until his passing on November 28, 2016.
Born in Bedminster, she was the daughter of the late Oscar C. and Anna (Tiefenthaler) Detweiler.
Mrs. Buzdygon worked as a seamstress for the former Royal Pants Factory, Perkasie, PA, for 46 years until its closing in 1985.
She was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie (Kellers Church), PA, where she was active with the WELCA Group, volunteered with assembling the monthly newsletters and headed the Kitchen Committee for funeral luncheons and other church and community events.
A member of the Germantown Home Ladies Auxiliary, Mrs. Buzdygon enjoyed cooking, swimming, crocheting and quilting. She especially loved spending time at the family cabin in the Pocono Mountains.
She is survived by a son, William Scott Buzdygon and his wife Donna, of Quakertown, PA; three grandchildren, Ryan Buzdygon and his wife Melinda, of Salem, MA, Kristin Dudish and her husband John, of Coopersburg, PA, and Brett Buzdygon and his wife Sarah, of Quakertown; five great-grandchildren, Liam and Norah Buzdygon, Connor and Kaylee Dudish, and Xavier Buzdygon; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Detweiler.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, James, Russell, Harry, William Lester and Richard Detweiler, and five sisters, Anna King, Marian Detweiler, Alice Detweiler, Joyce Grim and Irene Martin.
Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3668 Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Kellers Church Cemetery, Perkasie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3668 Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA 18944.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
