Ernest A. Bouc, Jr., formerly of Sellersville, PA, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Lutheran Community at Telford, Telford, PA.  He was 94.

He was the loving husband of Mary Ellen (Kenderdine) Bouc.  The couple had celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary on August 3, 2024.

Born in New Hope, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest A. Sr. and Dorothy (Fisher) Bouc.  He was a 1948 graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Perkasie, PA.

He was a proud U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, having been stationed in Germany.

Mr. Bouc worked in maintenance department for the County of Bucks at the Bucks County Courthouse, Doylestown, PA, and earlier at Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, PA, for a combined 12 years until retiring in 1990.  Previously, he worked as a tech writer for both the Allen- Sherman-Hoff Co., Bala Cynwyd, PA, and for Simco, Lansdale, PA.

He was an active member of St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where he sang in the Church and Funeral Choirs, served on the Church Council and as an Usher, and volunteered as Sunday School Superintendent over the years.  He also served on the St. Andrew's Union Cemetery Committee as its Secretary for over 42 years.

Mr. Bouc was a member of the Nase-Kraft American Legion Post No. 55 as well as the V.F.W. Forrest Lodge No. 245, both in Sellersville. Having a love for baseball, he was a founding member and Past President of the Pennridge Little League, Perkasie, and an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Lehigh Valley IronPigs Baseball Teams.  He also was a dedicated follower of the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Holly L. Ambrose and her husband Timothy, of Perkasie, PA, and Heather E. Hummel and her husband Alan, of Levittown, PA; and a grandson, Connor Hummel.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Bouc, in 2018.

His Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Perkasie.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand View Hospital Festival of Lights, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA  18960.
