Eric F. Fargo, of Satsuma, FL and formerly of Sellersville, PA and Miami Lakes, FL, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the Haven-Roberts Hospice Care Center, Palatka, FL. He was 92.

He was the husband of his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Glenna Jackson Fargo.  They enjoyed 64 wonderful years together as husband and wife until Glenna's passing on December 30, 2016.

Born at the Washington House in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Earl Fargo Sr. and Edith (Kopp) Lachman.

A 1948 graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Perkasie, PA, he went on to attend Stroudsburg State Teachers College, Stroudsburg, PA until 1951.  Then, during the Korean Conflict, he entered the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at George Air Force Base, Victorville, CA until 1953. Eric then returned to Stroudsburg State Teachers College to complete his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education, and attended the University of Pennsylvania for an advanced degree in Physical Therapy, graduating in 1957.

Eric, along with his wife, Glenna, operated Eric F. Fargo Physical Therapy in North Miami Beach and then Miami Lakes, FL for 40 years, retiring in 1997.

An avid and talented sports enthusiast, Eric loved baseball, Greenjackets football, with his brother Lusch, fishing, hunting, golf, swimming, scuba diving, and gymnastics.  Most of all, he enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas to meet up with his family, (He was an excellent dice thrower!).  He also enjoyed spending summers, and only a very few winters, at their cabin in Jackson, Wyoming.

Eric is survived by his two daughters, Patti F. Bedell and her husband Charles, of Satsuma, FL and Erica Fichter and her husband Bruce, of Ocala, FL and a brother Earl "Lusch" Fargo of Green Cove Springs, FL.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Clemens.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville, PA.
