Elmer J. Holsinger, formerly of Telford, PA, passed away at Dock Terrace, Lansdale, PA, on Friday, January 19, 2024. He was 96.

He was the loving husband of the late Phyllis L. (Slemmer) Holsinger.  They had been married for 74 years prior to her passing in 2023.

Born in Quakertown, Elmer was a son of the late Emra and Nora (Seese) Holsinger.

Elmer was employed in the sales department for the former Lansdale Heating and Plumbing Company for 30 years before moving on to the former Frank Kniese and Sons Plumbing and Heating Co. of Doylestown before he retired in 1991.

He was also an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Sumneytown, PA, where he served as usher and was part of their Chow-Chow fundraiser. Additionally, Elmer was a member of  Generations, Souderton, PA as well as Meals on Wheels.  He enjoyed bowling and watching various sports. Elmer also served on the Resident Council at Dock Woods Community Lansdale.

Elmer is survived by daughters, Beth Ann Costello and her husband Michael, of Carolina Shores NC and Patti Hespell and her husband David, of Quakertown; four grandchildren; Kelley Stingle and her husband Michael, Patrick Costello and his wife Laura, Brandon Hespell and his wife Adelina and Tonya Davis and her husband Greg; seven great-grandchildren, Brooke, Kylie, Aria, Hadley, Delaney, Cooper and Jack.    Elmer was predeceased by 2 brothers, Sewell and Dorsey.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2PM on March 14, 2024 at the Dock Woods Community Chapel.  275 Dock Drive.  Lansdale, PA.  19446.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
