Ellen Louise Lovell Robinson (AKA Roxie) passed away on August 6, 2022, while receiving skilled and loving care at the Lutheran Community at Telford.

Ellen was born in 1936 in Philadelphia, PA where she spent her childhood and graduated from Lincoln High School.  Throughout her life, she exemplified her belief that you "get what you give". As a young bride, she and her husband, Homer Robinson, moved to Warrington, PA, and partnered with the Bucks County Child Welfare Board. While raising their young family, they provided emergency foster care for over 90 children throughout the 1960s and 1970s. They then relocated to Sparta, NJ, and she became a bookkeeper for Olde Lafayette Village in Lafayette, NJ. Upon retirement, Ellen moved to The Villages, FL. She spent 20 very happy and active years there.  She was known for making herself available to help her friends and participate in charitable events. Her friends and family will always remember her being "the life of the party".  She enjoyed being with her many friends, including the "LoW's" and "Loopers",  and meeting new people. She loved bowling, camping, cruising, and playing golf and bocce ball. You could count on Ellen to weave a colorful tale, plan gags and crazy surprises, engage everyone in a game, cruise around in her bright red golf cart and be ready to dance the night away.

She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Louise Lovell, her brother, Melvin, and her son, John Earl Robinson.

Ellen is survived by her son, Gary Robinson,  and his wife, Beth, of Quakertown, PA; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Robinson of Elliotsburg, PA; and daughters, Jacqueline O'Hare and her husband, Edward, of Branchburg, NJ;  and Judith Robinson of Philadelphia, PA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, whom she adored: Anthony, David, Nathan, Adam, Brendan, Katherine, Micaelie, Hannah, Daniel, and Liam, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A private memorial will be held in her honor celebrating her significant life at the home of her son, Gary. There will be a private ceremony at her final resting place,  Sunset Memorial Park, 333 West County Line Road, Feasterville PA.
