Elizabeth Marcano, of Perkasie, PA, passed away at Harbor View Rehab and Care Center, Doylestown, PA. She was 70.

            She was the wife of the late Francisco R. Marcano who passed away on June 5, 2021.

            Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Santos and Delia (Hernandez) Cruz.

            Mrs. Marcano was a homemaker, who loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.

            She was a member of the former First United Methodist Church of Perkasie.

            A great cook, she loved entertaining family and friends in her home. She loved music, singing and dancing. She also traveled with her husband over the years.

            She is survived by two children, Alex Cruz and his wife Jessica, of Goldsboro, NC and Elise Marcano and her husband Tremaine Simmons, of Perkasie, PA; two step children, Angel Marcano, of Souderton, PA and Paula Marcano of Perkasie; six grandchildren, Jose Mendez, Jasmine Mendez, Alexander Aden Cruz, Jayden Santos Cruz, Tristan David Simmons, and Trent Francisco Simmons; a brother, Robert Cruz and his wife Anotnia, of Georgia; and four sisters, Zena Hernandez, of Puerto Rico, Gisela Cruz, of Puerto Rico, Ivon Cruz, of Florida and Iris Cruz, of Florida. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Yolanda Cruz; and a brother, John Cruz.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in South Perkasie Evangelical Cemetery, Perkasie, PA.
