Obituary

Elizabeth M. Moyer, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at her home.  She was 90.

Betty was the loving wife of Roy S. Moyer.  The couple celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary on August 24, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Elizabeth (Stoffel) Miller.  She was a 1951 graduate of Quakertown Community High School, Quakertown, PA, where she played the clarinet in the Marching Band. She was also a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College, Wilmington, DE where she studied Business.

Mrs. Moyer was employed as a secretary in the Personnel Department of the U. S. Gauge, Sellersville, PA, from 1953 to 1961, where she was also active with the Sunshine Committee.  During the 1980's she worked as a secretary for Pennridge Family Dentistry, Perkasie, PA.

She was a dedicated member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA, where she was active with CYAA and volunteered with the Monday Morning Collection Committee and Christmas Bazaar Toy Table.  A member of the St. Agnes School Mother's Guild, she also volunteered as a School Recess Monitor and Home Room Mom.  Additionally, she served as a Girl Scout Brownie Troop Leader.

Betty was most proud of making a loving home for her family.  She will be remembered for her colorful flower beds and her sewing, knitting and crocheting skills.  She had a knack for cooking, canning and baking, especially her delicious Christmas cookies.

Betty, lovingly called Mom-Mom by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherished any opportunity to spend time reading, playing, or baking with them.  She also enjoyed attending their sports and extracurricular activities.  Family meant the world to her.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Kathleen M. Perricone and her husband Anthony, of Bedminster, PA, and Christina M. Hamburg and her husband Kyle, of Perkasie, PA; five grandchildren, Angelina Rybak and her husband Christopher, Amanda Breed and her husband Eric, Nicholas Perricone, Margaret Hamburg and Ascher Hamburg; and four great-grandchildren, Ruby and Harlow Rybak, and Easton and Palmer Breed.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph F. Miller.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.  Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, 453 Haycock Run Road, Kintnersville, PA.
