Obituary

Elizabeth M. "Beth" Day, formerly of Warminster, PA, and Fort Myers Beach, FL, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at The Willows of Living Branches, Hatfield, PA.  She was 91.

She was the loving wife of the late John K. "Jack" Day until his passing on July 24, 2018.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Galley) Schneider.  She was a graduate of Frankford High School, Philadelphia.

A homemaker, Elizabeth worked in office administration for Dr. Frank, Opthalmologist, Hatboro, PA, from 1974 until retiring in 1994.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Southampton, PA.

Elizabeth and her late husband Jack were life-long members of the Vereinigung Erzgebirge, a German Social Club in Warminster, PA.  An avid reader, she enjoyed cross-stitching and tending to her gardens.  While residing in Florida, she loved fishing, shelling and walking on the beach.

She is survived by two sons, John C. Day, of Pipersville, PA, and Michael A. Day and his wife Catherine, of Quakertown, PA; five grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, Stephen, Lauren and Zachary; a great-grandchild, Brooklyn; and two sisters, Doris Vorndran, of Warminster, PA, and Shirley Morris, of New Hope, PA.

Services will be held privately.
