Elisabeth Hauschild, of Sellersville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp., PA.  She was 93.

She was the loving wife of 66 years of Stefan Hauschild until his passing in March 2022.

Born in St. George, Salzburg, Austria, on February 10, 1930, to the late Anton and Elisabeth (Gruber) Eder, she immigrated to the United States in 1956 with her family.  Originally settling in New Jersey, the family moved to Hilltown Township in the early 1960's.

She worked for Wheaton Plastics in New Jersey, American Olean Tile, Lansdale, PA, and Leeds & Northrup, North Wales, PA, over the years before her retirement.

Mrs. Hauschild was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown, PA.

She loved spending time gardening, and in the kitchen baking and cooking family dinners.  She taught many in her family to continue European cooking.  She loved her ski trips with her grandchildren, and continued to ski into her 80's.

Surviving are two children, Ernst Hauschild and his wife Linda, of Millville, NJ, and Helga Detweiler and her husband Richard, of Sellersville; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Hauschild, of Kansas City, KS; four grandsons, Matthew Hauschild, Brandon Detweiler, Colin Detweiler and Shane Hauschild; and six great-grandchildren, Mia Hauschild, Konnor Detweiler, Ella Hauschild, Victoria Hauschild, Matthias Hauschild and Reid Hauschild.  She is also survived by several sisters who reside in Austria.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Anton Hauschild, in 2010, two brothers and one sister.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Grand View Hospital and Hospice for their compassionate care and thoughtfulness.

Her Memorial Service and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family at a later date.
