Edward N. Camburn, of Greentown and formerly of Hilltown, PA, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at his son's home in Milford Twp., PA, one day before what would have been his 88 ^th birthday.

Born in Ambler, PA, he was the son of the late John T. and Fannie (Saylor) Camburn.

Mr. Camburn was employed as a metallurgist by Laboratory Testing, Inc., Dublin, PA, for over 10 years until retiring in 2000.  Previously, he worked for the J. W. Rex Co., Lansdale, PA.

Over the years, Mr. Camburn bred and raised German Shepherds.  He had served as the Director of the Bux-Mont Raiders Drum & Bugle Corps for many years and then later served as Assistant Director and Bus Driver for the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps, Newtown Square, PA. A travel enthusiast, particularly to Europe and Alaska, he also enjoyed golfing and hiking.  He especially loved boating and lake life at Lake Wallenpaupack in the Pocono Mountains.

He is survived by three children, Deborah Godshall and her husband Robert, of Longswamp Twp., PA, Kathleen Scheetz, of Perkasie, PA, and Wayne Camburn and his wife Julie, of Quakertown, PA; seven grandchildren, Seth Renner, Corey Godshall, Zachary Camburn, Zane Camburn, Brynne Camburn, Evan Camburn and Sierra Camburn; seven great-grandchildren, Chase, Carson, Cloey, Riley, Owen, Hayden and Amara; a daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Camburn, of Riegelsville, PA; his former wife, Alice E. Kachline; and his close friend, Jody Pitcock, of Harleysville, PA.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Camburn; a grandson, Christopher Camburn; two sisters, Fannie Rhoads and Virginia Oswald; two brothers, John and Robert Camburn; and a son-in-law, Frederick Scheetz.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service to held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Vino by Zzino, 1410 Fels Road, Quakertown, PA.
