Edgar L. "Ed" Bolton, of Hilltown Twp. and formerly Silverdale, PA, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at his home.  He was 81.

He was the loving husband of Elizabeth Ann (Benner) Bolton.  The couple had celebrated their 58 ^th Wedding Anniversary on September 28, 2021.

Born in Silverdale, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Alice (Landis) Bolton.

A self-employed crop farmer for 65 years, he was a former member of the Bucks County Farmers Association.  Additionally, he worked as a self-employed truck driver for over 30 years.  On the farm, he also raised quarter horses, beef cattle and other animals over the years.

Mr. Bolton was a 58-year member of Deep Run Mennonite Church West, Perkasie, PA, where he served as an Usher.

An avid baseball fan who loved playing and watching the sport, he also enjoyed fishing.  He will be remembered for always lending a helping hand and wearing his cowboy hat and boots every day except Sunday.

Surviving with his wife are three children, Lisa Bolton and her husband James Martin, of Perkasie, PA, Susan Cassel and her husband Stephen, of Silverdale, PA, and B. Clint Bolton and his wife Roxann, of Perkasie; five grandchildren, Troy A. Feick and his wife Jamie, Lyndee  Feick, Brooke Cassel, David Cassel and Thomas Cassel; a sister, Irene Dorville, of Arlington, VA and a brother, Ray L. Bolton and his wife Patricia, of Kutztown, PA; two sisters-in-law, Faye Bolton and Jan Bolton; and a brother-in-law, Warren Landis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Charles L. and David Bolton; and a sister, Lydia Landis.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Deep Run Mennonite Church West, 1008 Deep Run Road, Perkasie, followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 Noon to celebrate Ed's life.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
