Largent
November 10, 1930 – December 26, 2025
Earle L. Largent, of Souderton and formerly of Barto, PA, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospice, Bethlehem, PA. He was 95.
He was the loving husband of the late Donna L. (Jackson) Largent until her passing on February 13, 1995.
Born in Missouri, he was the son of the late Frank and Laura (Brown) Largent.
He was a proud U. S. Army Veteran, having served stateside as a cook from 1948 to 1950.
Mr. Largent was employed as a pipefitter and plumber at the Johnsonville Naval Base, Warminster, PA, for over 50 years until retiring.
An avid hunter, he was a member of several area fish & game clubs and enjoyed visits to his hunting lodge in Dushore, PA. Mr. Largent loved birdwatching, tending to his vegetable gardens, and attending auctions. A talented wood turner, he will be remembered for his ability to fix anything.
He is survived by a daughter, Bonnie L. Hallman and her husband Alan, of Souderton; a daughter-in-law, Terry D. Largent of Lansdale, PA; three grandchildren, Tracey L. Fuller and her husband Steven, Holly Scheffler and her husband Robert, and Heather Millan and her husband Iran; eight great-grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter, Tyler, Molly, Lucy, Nora, Eva and Sorenna; and two sisters, Ruth Capps and her husband Lee, of Warrington, PA and Carol Linus, of Vera Beach, Florida.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Earle Largent and siblings, Frank, Bud, Evelyn, Florence and Hazel.
Graveside Services with interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice, c/o Development Office, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
