Dorothy L. Stover, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 89.

Born in Doylestown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Katie (Worman) Walton, stepdaughter of the late Harvey Walton, and stepsister of Elaine, Dale, Harvey, Julia and Laura. She attended Valley Park School and was a 1952 graduate of Doylestown High School, Doylestown, PA.

Mrs. Stover was employed as a transportation dispatcher for Pine Run Community, Doylestown, PA, for over 25 years until her retirement.  Previously, she worked as a bookkeeper and helper on the Stover Family's "Spring Run Farm" in Buckingham, PA.  Upon her graduation from high school, she worked for the Steely & Smith Insurance Agency, Doylestown.

Mrs. Stover was a member of the former St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Dublin, PA, where she taught Sunday School for many years.

An active community volunteer, she was a Life Member of the Midway Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Lahaska, PA.  She also was a member of the Bucks County and Plumstead Historical Societies as well as the Buckingham and Perkasie Woman's Clubs.  An avid gardener, she enjoyed photography having entered many of her photographs in various contests over the years.

Mrs. Stover was particularly fond of attending holiday gatherings and she looked forward to her weekly outings to the Pennridge Community Center, Perkasie, attending its "Let's Talk" group.   She will especially be remembered for her love for spending time with her family and supporting her grandchildren at their sporting events and activities.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Conwell (James), of Perkasie, PA, and Susan Pursell (Joe), of Dublin, PA; and two grandchildren, Daniel Conwell (Caitlin), and Megan Conwell (Randy).

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in St. Luke's Union Cemetery, Dublin, PA.
