Obituary

Dorothy Elaine Weeks Seip, of Richland Twp. and formerly of Sellersville, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, March 27, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital – Upper Bucks Campus, Milford Twp., PA.  She was 94.

She was the devoted wife of the late Carl K. Seip until his passing on September 8, 2007.

Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Frank Cressman and Eva (Rausch) Weeks.  She, along with her husband, graduated from the Sell-Perk High School, Perkasie, PA, in 1945.

Following her high school graduation, Mrs. Seip began her career as a waitress with the former Trainer's Restaurant, Quakertown, PA, and later with the former Cottage Diner, Montgomeryville, PA.  Most recently, she waitressed for the former Littleton's Diner, Cheltenham, PA, for 23 years until retiring in 1996.

A woman of strong faith who was devoted to God and family, she was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church, Allentown, PA.

Mrs. Seip volunteered for many years at the Quakertown Hospital, Quakertown, PA.  An avid reader, she always enjoyed remembering family and friends with a card for all occasions.  Most of all, she loved taking care of her children.

She was the loving mother of five children, James B. Seip, of Perkasie, PA, Thomas W. Seip and his partner Gene DiBartolo, of Sellersville, Gregory J. Seip, of Quakertown, Terri J. Seip, of Quakertown, and the late William C. Seip who died in 2010.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Miller.

Her Funeral Services with interment in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville, will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
