Dorothy N. "Dotty" Tenley, of Perkasie, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her home.  She was 83.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother "Nanie", aunt "Sweet Aunt Dotty", sister-in-law and friend.  She was known for her kindness to all, her love for her children and grandchildren.  She expressed her love through her constant presence, never missing sporting events, birthdays, milestones and checking in with daily/weekly texts.

Dotty was the loving wife of 58 years of the late P. Stephen "Steve" Tenley, Jr., until his passing on June 29, 2024.

Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of the late John W. "Bill" and Dorothy C. "Dot" (Crosby) Norris.  She was a 1960 graduate of Abington High School.

Dotty worked as an office manager for a Veterinary Oncologist for many years and had a lifelong love for dogs.  She never missed a chance to spend time with them, which she continued until she was 80 years old, simply because she enjoyed it so much.

Some of Dotty's happiest moments were getting ice cream with her grandchildren as well as attending their wrestling, track and cheerleading events, having Sunday dinners with her children, watching the Phillies (never missing a game), her church and church community. The Christmas holiday was very special to her, making sure the holiday was joyful for her family with beautiful decorations and thoughtful gifts, baking her "famous" pumpkin bread, and cross stitching ornaments for her family.  Her love for knitting extended beyond her family as she often made items for the less fortunate.  She also enjoyed going out to eat, getting coffee and spending time with her dear high school and church friends.

Dotty was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Deep Run, Perkasie, PA, where she currently served as Deacon, taught Sunday school, organized communion volunteers, and, in earlier years, was active with the youth group and traveled with other members of the congregation.

She is survived by three children, Pamela T. Arciuolo and her husband Robert, of Bethlehem, PA, Mark Tenley and his wife Nong, of Bangkok, Thailand, and Douglas P. Tenley, of Perkasie; five grandchildren, Matthew Arciuolo, Christopher Arciuolo, Lauren Arciuolo, Fer and Audi.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Presbyterian Church of Deep Run, 16 Irish Meetinghouse Road, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.  Inurnment will be in the Deep Run Presbyterian Columbarium.
