Dorothy I. "Dot"  McGarry, formerly of Sellersville and Chalfont, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at St. Mary's Manor, Lansdale, PA.  She was 93.

She was the loving wife of 67 years of William McGarry until his passing on October 2, 2018.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Clara (Pampel) Klink.  She was a 1948 graduate of Dobbins Vocational High School, Philadelphia.

Dot worked as the parish secretary in the Rectory at St. Jude Catholic Church, Chalfont for 22 years, retiring in 1996.   She also spent many years volunteering in the St. Jude's school office.

She and her husband Bill enjoyed being "snowbirds", spending many winters at their home in Tarpon Springs, FL.  In her free time, Mrs. McGarry enjoyed going to the beach, bowling, playing bingo, word games and puzzles.  Most of all, she enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and taking care of her family.

She is survived by four children, Nancy Ventresca and her husband Michael, of Millsboro, DE, Susan McGonigal, of Lansdale, PA, Diane Fardink, of Madison, OH and William L. McGarry, of Los Angeles, CA; Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Walter Klink.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. Mary's Manor Chapel, 701 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:45 AM until 10:45 AM.  Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Catholic Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
