Doris A. Smith, 98, of Telford, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at her son's residence where she resided for the last 24 years.

Born in Souderton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Wenger and Mary (Kulp) Wenger.  She was the loving wife of the late David R. Smith in which they celebrated 75 years of marriage.

Doris was a graduate of Souderton Area High School.  She was a homemaker.  In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, knitting, cooking, being a den mother with the Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts, reading, square dancing and visiting family across the country.

She is survived by her children:  Erich D (Margaret) of Telford, PA; Kurt R (Pearl) of Telford, PA; Karl  (Susan Schmidt) of Livermore, CA; Lynn May of Overland, MO; Jan of St. Charles, MO; and Gus (Colleen) of Winter Springs, FL.  Doris is also survived by her eight grandchildren:  Craig, Wendi, Bethany, Holly, Cheryl, David, Joy and Benjamin; along with 14 great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband David, she is also predeceased in death by her brothers Robert Wenger of Souderton, PA, Floyd Wenger of Sellersville, PA and Ray Wenger of Chalfont, PA.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
