Doris M. Danzenbaker, 90, formerly of Woxall, PA, passed away peacefully at Peter Becker Community, Harleysville, PA,  on Monday, August 14, 2023.

She was the beloved wife of the late George William "Bill" Danzenbaker, who passed away in 2007.

A daughter of Thomas and Clara (Shafer) Leedom, Doris was born in Holland, PA.  She graduated from Ambler High School in 1951 and went on to become a Bank Teller at Ambler Savings.  After her children were born, Doris became a homemaker for many years and eventually worked doing various cleaning jobs.  Doris was a dedicated member of Tabor United Methodist Church in Woxall, PA.

Doris's passions were spending time outside, tending to her flowers, and sewing.  She even collected thimbles and had a special place in her heart for her cats.  In addition to being a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Doris was known for being a great cook, especially her famous Christmas cookies.

Doris is survived by a son, Dan Danzenbaker (Lorie) of Perkiomenville and a daughter, Linda Schaffer (Bruce) of Telford.  She is also survived by a grandson, Markus McCaffrey (Samantha), great-grandson, Ronan, and his soon-to-be baby sister.   In addition to her husband, Doris is preceded in death by a brother, James Worthington, and a sister, Lorraine Penick.

Services will be held on Friday, August 18th, 2023 at 11:00AM at Peter Becker Community Chapel.  800 Maple Ave, Harleysville, PA 19438.  A calling period is scheduled prior to the service from 10-11AM.  Interment will be at 2:00PM at Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery.   Hendricks Station Road.  Woxall, Pennsylvania.  18979.
