Donald Michael "Mike" Hardy, of Hilltown, PA, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, July 4, 2025 at St. Luke's University Hospital, Bethlehem.  He was 66.

He was the loving husband of Kelly L. (Ervin) Hardy.  The couple would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on September 24, 2025.

Born on December 17, 1958 in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Donald Walton and Doris Gertrude (Petry) Hardy.  He was a 1977 graduate of Pennridge High School.

A machinist, Mike worked for Hardy Machine, Inc., Hatfield, PA for over 35 years, retiring in 2023.  Prior to that, he worked for P.K. Moyer, Telford, PA and for his brother Tom at Hardy Trucking.

He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hilltown and a former member of the Keelersville Club, Perkasie, PA.

Mike grew up with a passion for working on cars and trucks, especially GMC trucks.  He also loved four-wheeling through the mountains, hunting, mowing his yard, taking care of his home and NASCAR.  He especially cherished the family trips.

After his retirement, Mike enjoyed his days being a beloved Pop Pop to his nine grandchildren, making memories with his family and sharing moments with his wife and his dog Bear.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Sherry L. Asbury, of Schwenksville, PA, Jeff M. Hardy and his wife Steph, of Zieglerville, PA and Jake D. Hardy and his wife Jenna, of Chalfont, PA; nine grandchildren, Savannah, Bryleigh, Haelynn, McKenzie, Beauden, Hadley, Koe, Waylon and Brooke; two sister, Shirley Werner and her husband Art, of Barto, PA and Linda Gotzon, of Sellersville, PA and a sister-in-law, Darlene Hardy, of Bedminster, PA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tom in 2005.

His funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1530 Augsburg Drive, Hilltown, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 12:00 PM.  Interment will follow in Hilltown Union Cemetery, Hilltown, PA.  Mike's family has requested that the Dress Code for services be casual and not formal .
