Donald R. Dunlap, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at his home. He was 89.
He was the loving husband of Janet L. (Weidemoyer) Dunlap. The couple had celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary on November 5, 2025.
Born in Silverdale, PA, he was the son of the late Earl A. and Elsie B. (Klinger) Dunlap.
Mr. Dunlap was employed as a truck driver for Haines & Kibblehouse Quarries for over 30 years until retiring in 2007.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Sellersville, PA, where he served on the Church Building Committee.
Mr. Dunlap was a long-time volunteer for the Pennridge FISH Organization. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Milford Township Fish, Game and Forestry Association. His love for the outdoors extended to walking and camping, having backpacked and tent-camped the Appalachian Trail. A talented woodworker, he especially enjoyed traveling, cruising and going on bus trips.
Surviving with his wife are two children, Steven Dunlap and his wife Tina, of Zionsville, PA, and Linda Hudson and her husband Chris, of Stafford, VA; four grandchildren, Danielle Smith, Vaughn Smith, Briana Dunlap and Kendra Dunlap; a brother, Earl Dunlap, Jr. and his wife Lynn, of Sun Lakes, AZ; and two sisters, Patricia Dunlap, of Telford, PA, and Sandra Dunlap, of Perkasie, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lydia Labs.
Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
