Dennis R. Ketterer, of Hilltown Twp., PA, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Gwynedd Healthcare & Rehab Center, Lansdale, PA. He was 74.

            Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond B. and Kathryn M. (Royer) Ketterer. He was a 1970 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.

            Dennis worked as a truck driver, most recently for T. S. Hess & Sons Excavating, Pipersville, PA, where he was employed for two years until his retirement. Previously, he worked for 30 years for Tinari Container Service, Southampton, PA.

            He was a member of St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie.

            Dennis was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1539, Sellersville, PA, as well as the National Rifle Association. An avid deer and bear hunter, he also enjoyed deep sea fishing. He was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy Football, Philadelphia Phillies Baseball and Philadelphia Flyers Hockey fan. A motor sports enthusiast, he loved attending car shows and he was active in ATV racing with his son Daniel during the late 1980’s until 1994.

            Surviving with his son, Daniel B. Ketterer and his wife Allison, of Oxford, NJ, are two stepchildren; a brother, Barry Ketterer and his wife Deanna, of Sellersville, PA; and a sister, Robin Wojcik and her husband Frank, of Riegelsville, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Ketterer; and two sisters, Linda Overholt and Jacquelyn Gebhard.

            Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, PA 18944.
