March 4, 1932 – May 9, 2025
Delpha Lynn Hager, formerly of Telford, PA, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025, at Genesis Health Care – Quakertown Center, Quakertown, PA. She was 93.
She was the loving wife of the late Durell Hager until his passing on December 16, 2012.
Born in Atco, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Florence (Edwards) Lynn.
A homemaker, Mrs. Hager had also worked as a school bus driver with Hagey School Bus Company for the Souderton School District, Souderton, PA, for 10 years, and as a chairside dental assistant for Dr. David Lecrone, Quakertown, PA. Most recently, she operated a newborn baby day care out of her home in Telford for over 10 years until retiring in 2009.
She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Perkasie, Perkasie, PA, and she crocheted prayer shawls for Grace United Methodist Church, Telford, PA.
Mrs. Hager was a member, Past President and Past Vice President of the North Penn Goodwill Ladies Auxiliary, Souderton. She volunteered for many years with the former Friends of the Handicapped. In addition to gardening and canning, she loved baking, watching television and, most of all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Frederick A. Wagner and his companion Pat, of Chemung, NY, John Wagner and his wife Janet, of Quakertown, PA, Larry Wagner and his wife Linda, of Pennsburg, PA, and Diann Kerver, of Telford, PA; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Wagner, of Succasunna, NJ; 14 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ronald Lynn and his wife Shirley, of New York. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Wagner in 2010, Roger Wagner in 2024, a stepdaughter, Lori Hager, a brother, Arthur O. Lynn, and a son-in-law, Michael Kerver.
Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
