Dean Scott Frankenfield, of Quakertown, PA, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital – Bethlehem Campus, Bethlehem, PA.  He was 68.

Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Larry S. and Gloria M. (Barndt) Frankenfield.  A 1972 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA, he attained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Spring Garden College, Glenside, PA, in 1976.

Dean was employed as an architectural estimator with McCarthy Masonry, Quakertown, for five years until retiring in 2019.  Previously, he worked for North Star Construction Management, Allentown, PA, for over 20 years.

A member of the Perkasie Order of Owl's Nest No. 1224, Dean was an avid Penn State University Football fan and season ticket holder. While a student at Pennridge, he was a member of the Football and Track & Field Teams.  In his younger years, he played baseball in the Pennridge Little League.  Dean will be remembered for his love for rock music and watching "The Three Stooges".

He is survived by a son, Carson Scott Frankenfield, of Quakertown; and two sisters, Dawn L. Troegler and her husband Kenneth, of Sellersville, PA, and Dana L. Groff and her husband Michael, of Telford, PA.

His Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
