(Doneker) Miller
March 26, 1962 – August 14, 2025
Dawn Susan (Doneker) Miller, of Phoenixville and formerly of Coatesville, PA, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA. She was 63.
Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Robert Sr. and Marilyn Lois (Binz) Doneker. She was a 1980 graduate of Boyertown High School, Boyertown, PA.
She was a proud U. S. Army Veteran, serving with the Military Police from 1980-1983.
Dawn was employed as an Office Manager for Service Champ, Chalfont, PA, for over 10 years until retiring.
A special milestone in her life was having seen Pope Francis at the time of his visit to Philadelphia in 2015. A bingo and "Barbie" doll enthusiast, she enjoyed playing "Gin Rummy" and the lottery. Dawn never missed picking up and checking vending machines for change.
Known as the "Snack Lady" as she always had an ample supply of snacks, Dawn will be remembered as having a spunky personality. Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her grandchildren, especially playing mini-golf with her grandson, Landon.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Hardy and her husband Jeffrey "Jeff", of Mertztown, PA; two grandchildren, Brielle and Landon; a sister, Sandra Gemmell and her husband Michael, of Perkasie, PA; as well as her cousin, Phyllis (Doneker) Evanson, of Feasterville, PA; five nephews, Jacob Clements, William R. Doneker III, Bryan Doneker, David Doneker and Shawn Doneker; and two nieces, Olivia Gemmell and Gwendolyn Gemmell. She was preceded in death by a brother, William R. Doneker, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
