David J. Zimmerman, 80,  passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at his residence in Lansdale, PA.  He was the loving husband of Jeanette (Ogden) Zimmerman in which they would have celebrated 15 years of marriage this coming October.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Joseph F. and Renita D. (Stowers) Zimmerman.

He went to Abington High School and received his associate's degree before becoming a dedicated Army Veteran, stationed in Germany, and served during the Vietnam war.

David then worked in Computer Graphics for Unisys for 23 years.

In his spare time, he loved visiting flea markets, model trains, listening to music, riding his motorcycle, and his pet cats.

Along with his wife, David is survived by a son: David J. Zimmerman, Jr. of Milford, PA; two grandsons:  David J. III and Damian Zimmerman.

David is also survived by his siblings:  Renita (Joseph) Holland of Newtown, PA; Steven Zimmerman of Port Richard, FL and Jeanette Daley of Quakertown, PA. David is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brother Joseph Zimmerman, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday April 26th, 2025, at Christ Covenant Church, 2200 Mainland Road in Harleysville, PA  19438. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the Church.

A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
