David Levi Mann, formerly of Perkasie, PA, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 in the Souderton Mennonite Home, Souderton, PA.  He was 94.

He was the loving husband of Grace A. (Snyder) Mann.  The couple celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on June 16, 2023.

Born in Hagersville, PA, he was the son of the late Abraham Raymond and Edith Pearl (Gulden) Mann.  He was a 1946 graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Perkasie, PA.

A veteran of World War II, Dave served with the U. S. Marines from 1946 to 1948.

Following his military service, Dave became a Tool & Die Maker, working in several local shops including the U.S. Gauge, Sellersville, Delbar Products, V & M Tool, and Lenape Tool & Die, all in Perkasie.  He also owned and operated Precision Tool & Die in Perkasie.

Dave was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where he served on church council.

An active member of the Hartzell Crouthamel American Legion Post #280, Perkasie, he was also a Life Member of the Perkasie Fire Company, the Shilo-Maccalla Masonic Lodge No. 558 F&AM, Souderton, and  the Perkasie Historical Society.

Dave enjoyed skiing, hunting, traveling, camping, building bird houses and tending to his hosta gardens.  In his earlier years, he played the trombone and was a member of the Jimmy Kapsak band, playing the American Legion Hall every Saturday night.  He was also a member of the Quakertown Band.

Surviving with his wife are two children, Denise R. Leatherman and her husband Scott, of Sellersville and Thomas D. Mann and his wife Lynn, of Bondville, VT; five grandchildren, Rebecca Hayes and her fiancée Alex Nagy, John Hayes and his wife Suzu, Sally Diakon and her husband Brett, Rebecca Borneman and her husband John Ross and Zachary Barber and five great grandchildren, Maxwell, Beau, Calvin, Reese and Maeve.  He was preceded  in death by a brother, Abraham Raymond Mann, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 16, 2023 in Trinity Lutheran Church, 19 S. 5th Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment with Military Honors will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Perkasie, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 19 S. 5th Street, Perkasie, PA  18944.
