David J. Hulshizer, of Hilltown Twp. and formerly of Glenside, PA, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at his home.  He was 88.

He was the loving husband of Lois M. (Davis) Hulshizer.  The couple had celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary on May 7, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Allen C. and Mary (Stark) Hulshizer.

Mr. Hulshizer was employed for over 32 years with the Keystone Co. (formerly Yarway), until retiring in 2004.

He was a very active member of North Ridge Bible Chapel, Sellersville, PA, where he served as a Deacon and volunteered with the church's maintenance projects over the years.  Dedicated in his faith, he shared the gospel with anyone he encountered and sang praises to the Lord.

An avid gardener, Mr. Hulshizer enjoyed tending to his small orchard and working on cars. He will be remembered most for his love for his family, especially his grandchildren.  He would often call people to check on and encourage them.

Surviving with his wife are four sons, Peter Hulshizer and his wife Tina, of Sellersville, PA, Philip Hulshizer and his wife Diana, of Richmond, VA, Bruce Hulshizer and his wife Amie, of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Andrew Hulshizer and his wife Bethany, of Perkasie, PA; 16 grandchildren; and two brothers, William Hulshizer and his wife Lois Jean, of Chalfont, PA, and Daniel Hulshizer and his wife Jennifer, of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen James and Stephen Hulshizer.

His Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at North Ridge Bible Chapel, 831 Keystone Drive, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 11:30 AM until 12:00 Noon.

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Ridge Bible Chapel, c/o Andrew Hulshizer, 1117 N. 7th Street, Perkasie, PA  18944 with check payable to the church.
