David Dale Bond, of Telford, PA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at his home.  He was 55.

Born in Wrangell, AK, he was the son of Madeline Paula (Dini) Bond, of Winter Springs, FL, and the late John Sheppard Bond who died August 16, 2022.

A graduate of Christian Brothers High School, Sacramento, CA, he attained his Associate's Degree in Science from Seminole State College, Seminole County, FL.

He worked as a test manager for Teledyne Scientific & Imaging LLC for 31 years.

David volunteered as a K9 handler for the VMSC Emergency Medical Services Search and Rescue Team, Lansdale, PA, currently handling K9s, Magic and Baqash.  He also was the founder of the VMSC Drone Team, instrumental in positioning the team with advanced drone equipment.  He attained his FAA Remote Pilots License in 2022, enabling him to fly the VMSC drone.  For his dedicated service to VMSC, he was awarded their Volunteer of the Year Award in 2022.

David will be remembered for his love for dogs, especially his own.  He was a committed volunteer with Caring Comfort Caring Therapy Dogs with Snowy and Magic.  A therapy dog trainer, he visited hospitals, nursing homes and hospice units with the dogs and participated in library Ruff & Read programs.

Surviving with his mother are two brothers, John Bond, of Elverta, CA, and his twin brother, Bruce Bond and his wife Pamela R., of Winter Springs, FL; a sister, Melody Kragh, of Telford, PA; ten nieces and nephews, Johnathan Bond and his wife Ericka, Jason Bond and his wife Illiana, Michael Beasley, James Kragh and his wife Sarah, Mark Kragh, Heather Helton, Danielle Rankin, John Beasley, Alexis Bond and Emily Bond; and four grand-nieces and grand-nephews, John, Amellia, Giovanni and Isaac.

His Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.  Interment will be held at a later date in Queen of Angels Cemetery, Winter Park, FL.
