Darlene A.Derstine, 68, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday August 21, 2022.  She was the wife of Ray Derstine, having celebrated their 47 ^th wedding anniversary in April.

Born in Sellersville, she was a daughter of Lorraine and the late Darwin Moyer Alderfer.

Darlene worked in both family-owned businesses, Derstine Lures and Derstine's Embroidery, for over 40 years. She had many roles, but bookkeeping was her favorite.

Darlene was a regular attender of Calvary Church in Souderton. She will be remembered for her big heart and love for Jesus. In her spare time, Darlene enjoyed healthy cooking and baking, tending to her garden, and walking. She also enjoyed her time in the mountains and dearly loved spending time with her family and grandson.

In addition to her husband Ray, Darlene is survived by her mother, Lorraine Alderfer of Souderton; daughter, Kelly Moore and her husband Jeremy of Harleysville; son, Jesse Derstine of Telford; three sisters: Marlene Nase and her husband Ray of Harleysville, Judy Myers and her husband Dave of Sumneytown, and Joyce Billman and her husband Steve of Los Angeles; and grandson, Landon.

Darlene is also preceded in death by her brother Randall Alderfer.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 26 at 1:30 PM at Calvary Church, 820 Route 113, Souderton PA. 18964.  Family will receive friends after the Memorial Service at the church.  Telford, PA 18969.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
