Cye Joseph Gelegonya, of Sellersville, PA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.  He was 24.

Born on June 28, 1999, he was a beloved son, brother, nephew and friend, all who loved him more than words can say.

Cye was a 2018 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA. He wrestled for the Pennridge Rams Wrestling Team, earning trophies at meets and tournaments in which he participated.

In his younger years, Cye played youth football with the Pennridge Greenjackets. He loved watching football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles.  A nature enthusiast, he enjoyed playing chess, traveling, and spending time with family and friends as well as his two dogs, Lexy and Roger.

An aspiring tradesman, he worked in construction and with his father restoring old cars.

He is survived by his father, George S. Gelegonya, of Sellersville; his mother, Gerri Ann McLaughlin, of Quakertown, PA; his brother, Sage George Gelegonya, of Sellersville; several aunts and uncles and many friends.

His presence will be forever missed and will always live on in our hearts with all the joy and loving memories he has given us.

His Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Perkasie.
