Craig K. Overholt, of Sellersville and Millsboro, DE, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA.  He was 70.

He was the husband of Patricia M. (Schlegel).  The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 19, 2024.

Born in Bridgeton, NJ, he was the son of the late Lloyd S. and Mildred (Haney) Overholt.  He was a 1973 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA, where he ran the scoreboard for sporting events from the 7th to 12th grade.

Craig worked in building maintenance most of his life.  He was employed at the Upper Bucks County Technical School for 9 years, retiring in 2023.   Prior to that, he was with Advanta Bank Corp., Horsham, PA and before that, he worked for Clemens Markets for 38 years.  He started his career as a carpenter, working for Frank Rice and Glenn Garis Builders.

He was a Life Member of the Sellersville Fire Company, where he helped with paper collection and ham dinners.  He also loved running the duck pond at the fire company carnival.

In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, making cabinets and wooden toys and saltwater fishing down at his home in Delaware.

Surviving with his wife are three sons, Jason K. Overholt and his wife Angela, of East Waterford, PA, Joshua L. Overholt and his wife Megan, of Cedar Springs, MI and Jeffrey L. Overholt and his wife Jennifer, of Perkasie, PA; six grandchildren, Christopher Overholt and his wife Brittany, Madison Overholt, Brody Overholt, Kayla Overholt, Dylan Overholt and James Overholt; three step grandchildren, Matthew Mayberry, Greyson Hale and Halden Hale;  a great granddaughter, Evelyn Overholt; two brothers, Glenn S. Overholt, of Northampton, PA and Eric A. Overholt and his wife Kathy, of Mertztown, PA.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin L. Overholt in 1993.

His viewing will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Sellersville Fire Department, 2 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA.  Interment will follow at 2:30 PM in Old Drawyer Cemetery, Odessa, DE.
