Richard Christopher Petersen, of Hatboro, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 15, 2022, at his home.  He was 57.

Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late Richard T. and Barbara (Biddington) Petersen.  He was a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, Horsham, PA.

An avid baseball and Philadelphia Phillies fan, he enjoyed playing the sport during his younger years.  He loved cars and proudly owned several classic cars over the years.

He is survived by a son, Andrew C. Petersen and his wife Stephanie, of Sellersville, PA; two grandchildren, Carter and Madelyn Petersen; and a sister, Jill Burdge and her husband David, of Willow Street, PA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Thompson.

Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
