Obituary

Christopher G. Finnegan, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at his home.  He was 68.

He was the loving husband of Jill H. (Fargo) Finnegan.  The couple had celebrated their 42nd Wedding Anniversary on October 10, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John "Jack" B. and Joan M. (Manning) Finnegan.  He was a 1973 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.

Chris owned and operated Finnegan Associates, Perkasie, for 33 years.

He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and recently completed the "Christ Life" Class.

Chris was a long-time volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America.  He was active with Scout youth and adult activities as well as the Wood Badge Adult Training.  An avid cook, he enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland and Scotland, and spending summers at the Outer Banks in North Carolina.  Most of all, he loved sharing in a multitude of interests and hobbies over the years.

Surviving with his wife are his two children, Geoffrey I. Finnegan and his wife Julianne, of Columbus, OH, and Emily M. Finnegan, of Quakertown, PA; two brothers, Keith Finnegan and his partner Patricia Courtney, of Sellersville, PA, and Sean Finnegan and his wife Sandra, of Sellersville, PA; two sisters, Kathleen Lazaunikas and her husband Thomas, of Perkasie, PA, and Kerry Duckworth and her husband Mark, of Perkasie, PA; and his grand puppies, Bernie and Travis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Richard Finnegan, in infancy.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Crossing Council of Scouting America, One Scout Way, Doylestown, PA  18901.
