Charles L. Kratz, 90, of Telford, PA  passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville PA.

He was the beloved husband of Gladys Fisher of Telford, PA.

Born in Hatfield, PA he was a son of the late Raymond S. Kratz and Stella (Kulp) Kratz.

Charles was a decorated Veteran in the Army.  He was a Drill Sergeant.  He proudly served his country and received a Good Conduct Medal.  After retiring from the Army, Mr. Kratz worked as a Maintenance Mechanic at American Olean Tile.

He was an active person who was a part of the Souderton Legion Post 234 along with Telford VFW Post 2308.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Philadelphia Phillies and going to the casino.

Along with his wife Gladys, he is survived by his children:  Sherrie (Bill) Hilliard of Sellersville, PA; Gary (Tina) Kratz of Green Lane, PA; Cheryl (Howard) Quinn of Telford, PA;  and Deborah (Stephen) Keller of Harleysville, PA.   He is also survived by five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Charles, being the youngest of nine children, is predeceased in death by his siblings: Katheryn Nyce, Annie Troxel, Paul, Raymond, Matthew, Leroy, Willard and Harry.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford, PA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until  the time of the service.  Interment to follow at Leidy's Cemetery, Leidy Road, Souderton, PA 18964.
