Charles F. Hediger, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at his home. He was 63.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Carl F. and Kathrine M. (Jordan) Hediger. He was a 1981 graduate of Cheltenham High School, Cheltenham, PA.
Charles was a self-employed house painter, owning and operating Charles F. Hediger Painting, Philadelphia, PA, for over 15 years.
A Marvel comics and movies enthusiast, he was a devotee of StarTrek and Dungeons & Dragons. He loved collecting comic books, especially Marvel. A dedicated Philadelphia Phillies Baseball and Philadelphia Eagles Football fan, he also enjoyed camping and was particularly fond of his cats.
Charles is survived by two brothers, Robert L. Hediger and his wife Kelli, of Coopersburg, PA, Michael J. Hediger, of Cheltenham, PA; a sister, Kathrine M. Hagen, of Sellersville, PA; four nieces and nephews, Miranda Wagner and her husband James, of Doylestown, PA, Valerie Giannini and her husband Michael, of Sellersville, PA, Jared D. Hagen, of Sellersville, PA, and Leslie Styer, of Marine City, MI; three great-nieces and –nephews, Madeline Gebhard, Holden Giannini and Ezera Garrisi; a great-great-nephew, Nico J. Bishop; and his two best friends, Ray Gallagher and Paul Dunn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin J. and Daniel T. Hediger.
His Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
