Charles William Harvey, III, of East Rockhill Twp., PA, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at his home.  He was 85.

He was the husband of the late Margaret A. "Peggy" (Smith) Harvey who preceded him in death on May 23, 2009.

He was the son of the late Charles W. Jr. and Eleanor (Kurtz) Harvey.

Mr. Harvey retired after 20 years of service with the U. S. Army, having served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.  Following his retirement, he worked as a self-employed building contractor and later as a school bus driver for the Pennridge School District, Perkasie, PA.

He was a member of the Keelersville Club, Perkasie.  An avid hunter, he also enjoyed fishing on Bowers Beach in Delaware with his late wife Peggy.

He is survived by five children, Christine Harvey, Russell Harvey, Pamela Ohler and her husband Richard, Eleanor Brown and her husband Christopher, and Charlette Jones and her husband Jason; many grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Gray; and a stepbrother, Thomas Dorfis.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by two sons, Charles Harvey, IV, and John Egner.

His Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
