Obituary

Carol Lynn Paone, of Hilltown Twp. and formerly of Perkasie, PA, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her home.  She was 61.

She was the loving wife of George J. Paone, II.  The couple had celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary on April 27, 2024.

Born in Chestnut Hill, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Murray) Howell.  She was a 1981 graduate of Springfield High School, Springfield, PA.

Having a passion for working with children, Carol was employed as a lunch monitor and crossing guard for the Pennridge School District at the Pennridge Central Middle School, Silverdale, PA, for over 20 years until retiring in June 2024.  Previously, she worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Marcy, Glenside, PA.

She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA.

Carol loved to travel and ride motorcycle with her husband.  In addition to taking her daily walks and stops at Dunkin' Donuts, she enjoyed gardening and tending to her home.  She was particularly fond of taking trips to the shore, visiting the beach and listening to the sound of the ocean.

Carol will be remembered for hosting her annual Halloween parties and inspiring the neighborhood trick-or-treat celebrations.  Her greatest joy in life was her family especially her grandchildren and spending time together on Sunday which was "Family Day".

Surviving with her husband are two children, George J. Paone, III, of Dublin, PA, and Katie L. Kulp and her husband Daniel, of East Rockhill Twp., PA; two grandchildren, Austin and Charlie Kulp; a brother, Thomas Howell and his wife Joanne, of Warrington, PA; a sister, Margie Mignoni and her husband Gary Brick, of Fort Myers, FL; and her sister-in-law, Lisa Gergar and her husband Steve, of Macungie, PA.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 23, 2024, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:45 AM.
