King
March 21, 1941 – February 17, 2026
Carol Ann King, of Telford and formerly of Sellersville, PA, passed away at the Lutheran Community at Telford, Telford, PA. She was 84.
She was the loving wife of the late Alfred L. King until his passing on February 27, 1977.
Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Daniel F. and Agnes C. (Whitman) Buck. She was a 1959 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.
Mrs. King was employed as a meat packer working in the Bacon Room for Hatfield Quality Meats, Hatfield, PA, for 22 years until retiring in 2007. Previously, she worked as a school bus driver for the Pennridge School District, Perkasie, driving Bus No.5 from 1978 to 1985.
She was a lifetime member of St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sellersville, PA, where she was an active volunteer and played in the Handbell Choir.
A member of Generations of Indian Valley, Souderton, PA, Mrs. King took pride in tending to her home and her yard. A dedicated Philadelphia Phillies Baseball fan, she loved visiting amusement parks and going to the beach. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and belonged to a bowling league.
She is survived by three children, Sharon A. Held and her husband Scott, of Bedminster, PA, Brian S. King and his wife Susan, of Mullica Hill, NJ, and Jennifer L. McDonald and her husband David, of Perkasie; and six grandchildren, Owen, Caroline and Matthew King, and Corissa, Haley and Riley McDonald.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David D. Buck.
Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
